Natural Technique: Herbal Flea Control

If you live with pet, then definitely you are familiar with flea. They are dangerous enemy of our loving pets. Your pets may become seriously ill by uncontrolled flea attack. So, it is very essential to control those pests as early as possible. Today I will describe you how to control flea naturally by using herbal products.

You may choose any chemical product, or use natural product, judging the severity of the infestation. Today I will show how to control flea by using natural products. We will see the use of effective herbal products, produced by Rosemary and Eucalyptus.

Herbal pesticide for controlling flea

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus Leaves
I hope most of you know eucalyptus. It is a long tree and its leaf contains nice smell. Eucalyptus has many good properties which helps us in many ways. It helps us by eliminating flea. Eucalyptus is a great enemy of flea. You should spread eucalyptus leaf around the areas where your pet live, i.e. pet bedding, carpeting, under furniture, etc.

The most effective and fastest way of controlling flea is to use Eucalyptus oil on the affected area.  You should wash your pets bedding with eucalyptus oil mixed with water. This will kill adult fleas, mites, and destroy their eggs too. 

 NB: Very strong essential oil can be harmful for cats, so you should use this for your dog’s bed.

Rosemary Leaves

Rosemary leave is really very effective for controlling flea. You can make a powerful solution using rosemary leaves for controlling flea. You can prepare a strong solution for dipping your flea infested pet. Collect ½ cup of dried rosemary leaves and emerge into 1 ½ cup of boiling water.  Then keep it the whole night for cooling to the normal temperature.

Then mix this mixture with worm water and also mix ½ cup of lemon juice with it. Then dip your flea infested pet into that solution. This will kill all the fleas of its body and also destroy their eggs. Make sure that the bedding of your pet is also flea free for the 100% removal of flea.

Herbal Garden

This is a good way to control flea. If you have a small garden in your house, then plant some rosemary, mint, garlic, Sweet Woodruff, lavender, etc. This will help you controlling flea.  The smell of those leaves strongly annoy fleas. Fleas always maintain a safe distance from those plants. 

Herbal flea control is really effective and time saving. It is not toxic, and has no side effect. So, your pet will have a flea free, happy life. Use herbal products for having a healthy and happy, flea free pet.
